Delirious Detroit
Delirious Detroit
Design by Claire Nelson (2004)
I created this series of four greeting cards for the 2004 holiday season, with a percentage of sales benefiting local non-profit Detroit Synergy. The project was inspired by conversations with Nick Sousanis, founding editor of TheDetroiter.com, about how we could create more artful city propaganda. I was (and still am) enchanted by the graphics Michael Schwab created for the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy. I have oodles of Detroit designs in this vein just sitting on my computer, waiting for production for all kinds of merchandising. Anyone got any money?
