I designed these limited-edition posters bearing the Detroit city motto to celebrate our resilient spirit -- and to remind us that we have remade ourselves before. The Latin translation is "We hope for better things; it shall rise from the ashes." They were hand-screened by the talented Philip Lauri of Detroit Lives on kraft 80# stock from Michigan-based French Paper to be sold at Bureau of Urban Living.
