Here's a shot of the awesome window display at Bureau created by the talented Claire D'Aoust. Meeting Claire is actually one of my favorite shop stories. She came in one day to look around while she was in town from New York visiting family. We started chatting a little bit before even introducing ourselves. She said she was a designer (sweet, me too) who lived on Adelphi Street in Fort Greene, Brooklyn (wow, I lived on Adelphi too!). It wasn't until the end that she told me her name (we even spelled it the same), and we've been pals ever since. She was really sweet to help me with this -- kinda tedious hanging all those red & orange tags on fishing wire. Of course we had to break for burgers at The Bronx.
