ACLU Lecture

ACLU Lecture

Presented by ACLU Michigan (2010)

I was really excited to serve on the event committee and help sponsor this lecture hosted by the Michigan Chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union. Dustin Lance Black, the screenwriter of Milk, gave an inspiring talk about both Harvey Milk and his own work advocating for LGBT rights at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Detroit. Thanks to the fabulous Roland Leggett for asking for my help to fundraise and promote. I was really touched by how many small businesses joined me in sponsoring the event.
