Ah, the blade sign I had been dreaming of didn't turn out exactly as I hoped. Two problems: First, I should have just made the letters solid bold white instead of that white outline/black inside thing. (But good lesson, because I learned after that to simplify the logo a lil bit.) Alas, it's difficult to read, but you can't miss that bright red! Second, in my imagination (and rendering) the sign would swing from a triangular bracket, like at a charming old cobbler shop in London, ya know? But the city wouldn't have that -- too dangerous with the wind blowing and all that. So we compromised with this solution, and I've learned to like it just the way it is.
